Overview

PDREMOTE/DOS is a software-only debugging solution of Paradigm C++ DOS Edition that allows the developer to download their application program to their target system running DOS and perform source level debugging. This communication is possible through the monitor program (pdremdos.exe). The remote monitor program once configured executes on the target and communicates with the Paradigm C++ Professional integrated debugger when a debugging session is initiated.

You can quickly create a PDREMOTE/DOS debug monitor using the PDREMOTE/DOS wizard. Just select File | New | PDREMOTE/DOS Wizard and create a pre-configured build for popular processors and boards. This wizard can walk you through the configuration and building of the PDREMOTE/DOS kernel.

Supported targets

The source files of the PDREMOTE monitor project can be customized to work with any number of x86 targets.
